These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the website busmove.pt and the moving and transport services provided by BusMove (“we”, “us”, “our”), registered at Av. Costa Pinto 91, 2750-431 Cascais, Portugal. By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Services
BusMove provides the following services across Portugal:
- Apartment and house moving
- Office relocations
- Furniture and appliance transport
- Loading and unloading services
- Packing and protective wrapping
- Delivery from stores (IKEA, Leroy Merlin, etc.)
- Old furniture removal and disposal
- Furniture assembly and disassembly
- Storage transport
3. Quotes and Pricing
- All quotes are provided free of charge and without obligation.
- Prices are based on the information provided by the client (volume, distance, access conditions, etc.).
- The final price may be adjusted if the actual conditions differ significantly from the information provided.
- We provide a detailed cost breakdown before the service begins.
4. Booking and Cancellation
- A booking is confirmed once both parties agree on the date, scope, and price of the service.
- Cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours before the scheduled service.
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may be subject to a cancellation fee.
5. Client Obligations
The client agrees to:
- Provide accurate information about the items to be moved and access conditions
- Ensure adequate access to both pickup and delivery locations
- Inform us of any fragile, valuable, or special items that require extra care
- Be present (or have an authorized representative) at pickup and delivery
6. Insurance and Liability
- All items transported by BusMove are covered by 100% insurance during transport.
- We take all reasonable precautions to protect your belongings, including stretch-wrapping furniture and appliances.
- Any damage must be reported at the time of delivery and documented in writing within 24 hours.
- We are not liable for items packed by the client without our supervision, pre-existing damage, or items of extraordinary value not declared beforehand.
7. Payment
- Payment terms are agreed upon at the time of booking.
- Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, cash, and MBWay.
- Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.
8. Force Majeure
BusMove is not liable for delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, road closures, strikes, natural disasters, or government restrictions.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the busmove.pt website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of BusMove and is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Cascais, Portugal.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication on this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
